The Student Records/Data Management Branch staff is working diligently to process all orders in a timely manner. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

General Information

The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Student Records Center (SRC) is responsible for the permanent archiving of student cumulative records (transcripts) of former LAUSD students. Records are typically archived five (5) years after the student's tentative graduating year from high school. We mainly hold records of former students over the age of 25. 

Records requests for current students and former students under the age of 25, should contact the last LAUSD school of attendance. 

All requests for student records need to be submitted and paid for online. Phone and fax requests are no longer accepted. If you are a government agency, please contact our office to receive a coupon code prior to submitting your request.

No walk-in, in-person, or same day service is available.

Charges will apply when ordering student records. Please note the information below:

• Please allow 20-30 business days to process student record orders
• Please allow up to 10 weeks to process replacement diploma requests
• Requests for records must be completed online and will be processed on normal business days during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM). Click the appropriate link button to request information.

CAL GRANT REQUESTS: Once you have submitted your request and payment, you MUST send in your original Cal Grant form with the order number provided with successful purchase by February 28th. Please send the paperwork to: Student Records Center, P.O. Box 3307, Los Angeles, CA 90051-1307. You can also attach the completed form through the order tracker link.
